Who’s Jonah are you? Jonah was directed by God to give a strong word of warning to the people of Nineveh, concerning their destructive behavior. However, the prophet Jonah ran from this commission because HE FELT as if the people didn’t deserve God’s mercy if they repented; Jonah was well aware of God’s forgiving and merciful nature. Nonetheless, Jonah finally performed his prophetic duties, the people of Nineveh did in fact repent, and were NOT punished by God.
Who has God been urging you to speak to? To warn? To give a strong rebuke in LOVE? It will save their life…didn’t God forgive you when you repented? Why don’t your brother or sister deserve the very least? Or even your enemy? Don’t get caught in the mouth of a ‘great fish’ in order for you to be obedient family.
